In December 2002 my wife and I decided to move to Nanaimo. Our realtor showed many homes, but we could not decide what to buy. Our realtor suggested that perhaps we should build.
Not knowing the area or in fact a contractor, we thought it could be a monumental task. He assured us that when we meet Mr. Ed Liepins of Georgia View Homes we would be more at ease. Our realtor assured my wife and I that Georgia View Homes was a company of high reputation and standard.
We met with Mr. Liepins, told him what our desires were. He took a great deal of time showing us homes and plans. Once we had decided what we wanted, he helped to choose a lot for building, advising us about warranties and price.
In January 2003, Georgia View started building our home in Elliot Heights. Right from the offset, we could see his tradesmen were of a very high standard. He walked us through every stage to ensure we were always satisfied. Ed had a quote 'we want you to be happy' when the project is done.
In April 2003 our home was completed. The end product to us was completed both professionally and tastefully .
In any project there are always some small defects. Georgia View Homes stood by their product, immediately rectifying these minute problems.
I would highly recommend Mr. Ed Liepins and Georgia View Homes to anyone who is looking for a contractor to build them a home. He is extremely honest and is very professional, and extremely competent.
